It all started back in 2005 when I obtained my first computer and the game The Settlers – Heritage of the Kings. I was immediately fascinated by the modification possibilities of this game: from adding simple scenarios to creating own hero-like Superfighters and introducing a Stargate System by overwriting built-in functions.
After playing some non-modifiable games, the enthusiasm returned with full force when the early versions of Minecraft were released in 2010. Using the unofficial Mod Coder Pack (basically a decompiled version of the game), it was possible to change every aspect of the game. Since then, I usually tweak every modifiable game I play, which are mostly strategy games like Civilization and Endless Legend.
As I realized that I spent more time modifying games than actually playing them, I decided to become a game developer.
